A chat with a neighbor about the new park sign made me see things differently

I was walking my dog by the new park on 96th Street and ran into Mrs. Chen. She pointed out that the sign for the community garden doesn't mention anything about volunteer hours, which might keep people from joining. It made me think we should push for clearer info on the board. Has anyone else noticed details on community posts that could be more helpful?

Actually, the sign does list volunteer hours.

Saw the same problem at the community center near me. Walked right up to the sign and still couldn't find the hours @oliviagrant mentioned. Had to pull out my phone and zoom in on a photo I took. Turns out the hours were printed in light gray ink on a white background, basically invisible from three feet away. What worked for me was just asking the front desk person directly. Took ten seconds and I got the full schedule printed on a card.

Wait, so if the hours are on there, are they easy to spot? Like, is the print tiny or tucked in a corner? My local library has a board where you need to be two feet away to read the event times, which is basically useless for anyone walking by.
