Still think keeping houseplants in terracotta pots is the only way to go

I lost my favorite fiddle leaf fig last month because I followed the crowd and switched it to terracotta. Dried out so fast the leaves curled up like potato chips in just 3 days. Can anyone else still save plants in plastic pots with success?

Plastic pots are fine, just let the soil dry out before watering again and you will be golden.

Saw a video from a plant guy who said plastic pots actually help some plants because the roots stay warmer. @hernandez.finley is right though, just don't drown them and you'll be fine.
