Ngl I used to baby my peace lily so hard now I just neglect it and it's thriving

Honestly I used to water it every single day, mist it twice, rotate it for even light. Then I went on a 2 week trip last summer and forgot to ask my neighbor to check on it. Came back expecting a dead plant but it had pushed out 4 new blooms. Now I just water it when I remember every 10 days or so and it looks better than ever. Like why did I stress so much? Has anyone else had a plant that got better the less you cared?

Nah, neglect just means your peace lily finally gave up on you and learned to survive on its own.
