My new fern was getting brown tips so I had to pick between more light or more water
I moved it to my bathroom window in Seattle, which gets morning sun, and the tips stopped browning after about two weeks. Has anyone else found ferns do better with morning light instead of extra misting?

Honestly, I just gave up on ferns. Mine always looked sad until I swapped it for a snake plant. That thing thrives on neglect.

Brown tips happen. It's a fern, not a heart transplant. Morning light probably just slowed its growth down a bit, so it used less water. Could have been a humidity bump from the bathroom too. Not exactly a controlled experiment.
