My neighbor's offhand comment about her hydrangeas made me rethink my entire balcony setup
My neighbor Ruth stopped by Saturday while I was out watering, and she asked why I keep moving my potted hydrangeas around the balcony. I said I was chasing the sun, and she just laughed and said her grandmother in Savannah never moved a plant in 40 years and hers bloomed better than any fussy garden on the block. That stuck with me because I've been treating my plants like they're fragile when maybe I'm the problem. It made me wonder if I'm overdoing the care and actually stressing them out. Has anyone else had someone point out that they were loving their plants too hard?
