My lucky pothos cutting rooted after 6 weeks in a strawberry jelly jar

I snagged a stray leaf from the office plant last March and stuck it in that tiny jar because it was the only thing clean on my desk. Just checked the roots this morning and they've wrapped all the way around the bottom, has anyone else gotten weirdly attached to a cutting that should've died?

Correct the timeline a bit, six weeks is actually pretty normal for pothos, especially if it sat through winter in an office with dry air. Those things root like weeds even from a single node, so your cutting was never really in danger. The jelly jar thing is cute though, but glad you checked because roots that wrap around can get tangled and stressed once they hit the bottom. I've had cuttings root in water bottles, old salsa jars, even a cracked mug with no drainage, and they all pulled through. Getting attached is half the fun, just don't let it get too rootbound in there before you move it to soil.
