What's the oldest plant in your family's garden?

My neighbor has this old rose bush she calls her "gossip vine." She says every time she trims it, she remembers who gave her the cutting forty years ago. I mean, plants really do hold stories like that. My mom's tomato plants all came from seeds saved from her own mom's garden. It's not just dirt and leaves, it's a whole family history.

Wow, that's a lot of pressure on a tomato. What if I just want to make salsa, not carry the weight of my ancestors?
