Career uncertainty had me talking to my peace lily about team dynamics.

Promotion decision looming. Peace lily's growth echoed project timelines. Any plant lovers get work advice from their greenery?

My peace lily on the credenza actually perked up last week after I finally repotted it, which coincided with a rough client call. I get the urge to anthropomorphize, @lily965, but that monstera lean is probably more about phototropism than team alignment. From my experience, ZZ plants push new growth when they have consistent water, not necessarily calm quarters. It's easy to see patterns, but I've killed a few succulents by over-attributing their states to my job stress instead of their actual needs. Now I use a moisture meter first before assuming my pothos is judging my productivity.

Totally get this, my monstera started leaning hard right when our team was having alignment issues. And my ZZ plant only puts out new shoots during calm quarters, it's weirdly accurate.

Used to think my pothos reflected my project chaos. Getting a moisture meter proved it was all about hydration.
