Can we talk about how my spider plant went from 3 sad leaves to 15 after I moved it to a north-facing window?
I stuck it in a south-facing corner for two months and it barely grew, then within six weeks by that north window it just exploded with new shoots... has anyone else seen that big a difference just from shifting light exposure?

North facing windows are a cheat code for spider plants honestly. That soft indirect light is exactly what they want, not the harsh direct stuff people assume they need. South facing windows just fry them and slow down all the new growth, even if they survive. It's wild how moving a plant a few feet can change everything like that. You probably got lucky with the timing and the plant just decided it was ready to take off too.

I had a friend who moved her spider plant from a south window to a north one and it just exploded with babies within weeks... like the plant was holding its breath the whole time. She said it went from looking sad and crispy to lush and dark green almost overnight. It's crazy how much that "soft indirect light" really is a cheat code.
