My sister dropped some hard truth about a profile we were stalking and now I can't unsee it
Last week my sister and I spent like an hour going through this profile that kept popping up on our feeds, a guy with 400 friends who posts the same motivational stuff every single day at 6am and 9pm on the dot. She looked at me and said "nobody real has that much energy for strangers," and then we found the same caption word for word on three other accounts with different names. Now I'm second guessing every nice comment I get, so how do you all tell the difference between a super consistent real person and a bot farm?
That line about "nobody real has that much energy for strangers" hits hard. A buddy of mine got burned the same way last year, started talking to this girl who posted like clockwork and always had a sweet reply ready, turned out her pics were swiped from some model in another country. The tell for him was that she never once asked him a real question about his life, just kept steering things back to herself.
