Everyone here says you can spot a bot just by looking at the profile, but I got burned twice last month by accounts with real looking photos and normal bios. So I threw $12 at some cheap checker tool I saw mentioned in a comment here and ran it on a profile that DM'd me about a 'business deal.' It flagged the photo as reused from a stock site and showed the posts were spaced out on a timer, which I never would have caught on my own. I know people here hate paying for stuff like this, but I'd rather lose 12 bucks than get scammed out of way more. Has anyone else used a paid tool for checking profiles, or is it really just me being lazy?
