Warning: I was gluing my spine wrong for 3 whole books before a customer said something
A lady picked up a journal I made her in March and the pages started falling out by May because I was slathering glue on the spine like it was a craft project. An old binder at the Denver book fair told me I should be brushing it thin and letting the mull do the work, not drowning it. How thin do you all go with your PVA, and does anyone still use wheat paste for the first layer?
