Switched to a bone folder made from deer antler and my spines finally lay flat

I fought with plastic folders for 3 years until a binder at the Portland craft fair let me try her antler one, and after one use on a 200-page journal, my spine creases came out perfect, has anyone else noticed a difference with natural materials?
