Picked up a $60 bone folder from a craft fair and it's already chipped

Thought I was being smart buying from a local seller instead of a big brand, but the edge crumbled after two dozen books. Anyone know a fix or should I just cut my losses and grab a steel one?

Man, I've learned that lesson the hard way... snapped a bone folder clean in half last month just trying to press down a stubborn seam. Felt like such a dummy staring at two pieces of plastic in my hands. Steel is definitely the way to go if you're even a little clumsy like me. Plus you can use it to pry things open without worrying about it cracking on you.
