That kind of picky feedback would make me toss the whole batch and start fresh.

I really disagree with adams.spencer about tossing the whole batch. That seems like such a waste of time and materials. Just because one customer said the headbands were too tight doesn't mean every single one is bad. Maybe that person just has a bigger head or a sensitive scalp. I would test a couple of the notebooks myself to see if the band feels off before redoing all six. It's smart to take feedback seriously, but not everyone's opinion is worth a complete overhaul.
