That book club debate about unreliable narrators hit me when I caught my own memory lying to me
Last month in our Seattle group we argued for 90 minutes over whether the narrator in our pick was lying, then I realized I'd been telling the story of how my dad and I rebuilt our deck for 3 years straight and just now noticed I switched who held the drill every single time, so has anyone else had a book club debate that made them question their own version of a real life event?

Did my friend Mike ever tell you he caught his girlfriend, not him, locking the car that day they argued about who forgot?
