Switched to audiobooks for dense non-fiction and finally finished a book I'd abandoned 3 times

Kept trying to read "The Power Broker" for my club's history pick. Got 50 pages in and stalled out every time. A buddy said try it on 1.5x speed during my commute. Finished it in 2 weeks. Something about hearing the names and dates versus reading them just clicked. Made me rethink my whole "audiobooks aren't real reading" stance. Anybody else have a book that only worked in a different format?

Wait, does listening to someone talk count as 'reading' now?

Whole point is consuming the info however your brain lets it in.

Audiobooks got me through 47 jobsite drives last year. Your brain's the boss.
