My book club swore I'd hate 'Piranesi' because I love plot, and Dana from our Tuesday group was so right
When we picked 'Piranesi' for our June meeting, Dana told me straight up that I'd be bored since I always say I need a fast plot. She knows me too well, because I quit on page 60 and showed up to book club with nothing to say. Now I'm wondering if I should trust her other big call, which was that our group should ban any book over 600 pages. How do you all decide whose taste to trust when you're picking the next read?
