Just realized I was skipping the epilogue sections for 5 years
Last week at the Tuesday night meetup in Portland, this retired librarian named Dot pointed out that I kept complaining about endings feeling rushed. She asked if I ever read the epilogue. I said no, I always skipped them to save time. She just laughed and handed me the last 8 books we'd read. Turns out half my problems with those endings were solved in the epilogues. Has anyone else been skipping those on purpose and then re-reading them changes the whole debate?
