Was skeptical about the Miller 251 vs my old Lincoln, now I'm converted
Ngl, I thought my Lincoln 250 would outlast everything, but after borrowing a Miller 251 for a stainless job at the refinery last month, I'm sold. The arc starts cleaner and the wire feed is way smoother on thin material. Anyone else switch brands and surprised yourself?

Might be a hot take but the real difference nobody talks about is how the Miller handles voltage drop when you're running a long extension cord. My old Lincoln would just start sputtering and make a mess, the Miller keeps chugging along. That alone saved me on a job last month.

Yeah I was reading something from one of those welding forums a while back and a guy was saying the same thing. Something about how Miller builds their machines with a wider tolerance for input voltage or whatever. Makes sense why you see Millers on job sites with sketchy power all the time.
