Warning: A boiler room fire in Toledo last year started from a tiny pinhole leak we all missed.

Ngl, the vapor found an ignition source from a nearby pilot light in under a minute. Anyone else had a close call from a leak you thought was too small to worry about?

Forget a minute, that's terrifying.

Wait, under a minute? That's not a close call, that's a straight up miracle nothing blew... I always figured you'd have more time, like a weird smell or something. A tiny pinhole doing that just makes every little drip sound way more scary now.

Yeah, a buddy of mine had a similar scare with his water heater. A tiny drip he kept putting off hit the burner tray and made this loud hissing ball of flame before he shut the gas off. He said it smelled like rotten eggs for a week after.
