The before and after on my old Milwaukee grinder was insane

Found it in the back of my truck, looked like it had been through a war, rust all over the housing. Spent maybe an hour last Sunday taking it apart, hitting it with a wire wheel and some cleaner. Put it back together and it runs like it's brand new, zero vibration. Anyone else have a tool they brought back from the dead?

Wait, you found it just rolling around in your truck bed? That thing must have been bouncing around for months to get that bad.

Oh man, I used to just toss stuff that looked that far gone. Seeing what you did, and what @jordanhill said about it bouncing around, totally changed my mind. Gotta try that with my old sander now.

Remember my buddy's old corded drill that got left out in the rain. He cleaned the switch contacts with some sandpaper and gave the whole thing a good oiling. That thing still works on his farm jobs to this day.
