That pressure gauge trick I overheard at the supply house in Gary
Was picking up fittings down in Gary last week and two old boilermakers were talking about pre-testing gauges with a hand pump before installing them. One guy said he always checks for a sticky needle by tapping the glass, saves him from chasing a false low reading on startup. Never thought of that, I've always just trusted the calibration sticker. Has anyone else got a quick bench check they do before mounting a new gauge?
