PSA: I think the push for all-digall manuals on new equipment is a mistake, based on a job in Toledo last week.
We lost half a day on a pressure vessel repair because the only manual was a PDF on a tablet that died, and the plant's wifi was down, so we couldn't access the torque sequence we needed.

Was there no backup paper copy on site at all... seems like a huge oversight for critical repair work.

Ugh, that's everywhere now. We put all our eggs in the digital basket and act shocked when the internet goes down. Feels like common sense left the building.
