The great board game shelf collapse of last weekend

I had to pick between reorganizing my game collection or finally fixing that wobbly shelf. I chose to move all 47 games to the floor to sort them by player count. Halfway through, the shelf gave out and sent my copy of Gloomhaven flying into a plant. Now I have a broken pot, a dented box, and games everywhere. Anyone have a good shelf brand that can hold a lot of heavy boxes?

Sorting by player count" is what got you. I just shove mine back on the shelf in any order. A wobbly shelf is a ticking clock, you should've fixed that first.

My shelf gave out last year and wrecked my copy of Twilight Imperium. Sorting them would have just made the cleanup prettier.

Exactly, a wobbly shelf is a disaster waiting to happen. I had a cheap bookcase lean over and spill my whole collection, felt like @adam_adams with his Twilight Imperium. Now I just stack them by box size, it's way faster and the shelf doesn't care.
