Question about the way we pick games at my weekly group in Columbus
For years, we just let whoever hosted pick the game, which always led to the same three heavy euros. Last month, I pushed for a simple vote using a shared list on my phone. The first night we tried it, we ended up playing a hidden role game called The Resistance that one quiet guy had been wanting to try for ages. It was a total blast, and he came out of his shell in a way I've never seen. The vote took maybe two minutes, but it meant everyone felt heard. It's not about the system, it's about giving every voice a real shot. Now we get way more variety and fewer grumbles. Has anyone else's group changed a small rule that made a huge difference in the vibe?

Love that for you guys. It's wild how such a small change can make everyone feel more included. Our group started doing something similar and it totally fixed the same problem.
