My math trade box hit 37 games and I finally had to admit I have a problem
Last Saturday I logged my trade pile into a spreadsheet for the first time. 37 games. Some were still in shrink. I counted 14 that I bought at Gen Con 2022 and have not played once. The scary part is I still checked the math trade thread that night looking for more. How many unplayed games do you all have sitting on the shelf right now?
37 games is nothing to be ashamed of, that's a normal collection for anyone who's been in the hobby a few years. The shrink wrap thing gets me though, because a game in shrink is just potential, not fun. I've got maybe 20 unplayed but most of those are small box stuff I'll get to eventually. The real move is to stop buying at cons and just play what you already own for a year, you'd be shocked how many of those 37 turn out to be keepers.
