I thought board game inserts were a waste of money until a guy at PAX Unplugged in Philly pulled one out of his bag
Last November I was at PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia and sat down to play Wingspan with three strangers, and the guy next to me had this foam insert he got for about $25. Setup took him maybe 90 seconds while I was still digging egg tokens out of a plastic bag like a chump. What got me was when we finished and he had the whole thing packed back up before I even found the lid for my box. I always figured inserts were for people with too much money and not enough games, but watching him actually play more because setup was not a chore totally flipped me. So now I am wondering, do you guys buy pre made inserts or cut your own foam?
