Hit 100 plays on Spirit Island last night and it totally changed how I see the game
I finally crossed 100 plays of Spirit Island last night. When I started tracking plays like a year ago I never thought I'd get to a triple digit number for just ONE game. But here's the thing - now I'm wondering if I've actually gotten BETTER at the game or if I just memorized how the spirits work. My win rate shot up from around 40% to maybe 70% after play 75. But does that mean I'm skilled or just playing on autopilot? Some of my friends say counting plays is just bragging. Others say it's legit progress. What do you all think - does hitting a big number like 100 actually prove anything about your skill level?

Man that's a solid milestone, 100 plays of anything is real dedication. I get the autopilot worry but honestly if you're winning more you're probably just getting better at reading the board state faster.

Try tracking your first 10 moves each game for a week... you'll catch yourself going on autopilot way faster and can snap out of it. A small notepad next to the screen helps more than you'd think.
