Can we talk about how I came around on light board games?
I used to believe only deep strategy games were worth my time, but now I see how accessible games can be just as rewarding for the whole group.

Oh, totally! I had the same shift myself. For years I only pulled out heavy games that took all night, but now something like Sushi Go is a guaranteed good time with my family. It's nice when everyone can jump right in and laugh together.

Same here. Used to be a snob about game depth. Thought light games were for kids. Then I saw friends struggle with complex rules. Their joy with simple games changed my mind. Now fun together means more than a tough game.

Wait, you're telling me a game about grabbing pictures of sushi became the gateway drug? That's what broke the strategy snobbery? I pictured something with at least a dragon or a spaceship, not tempura.
