Showerthought: My old anvil started to sound flat after about 18 months of heavy use.

I'm in a shop in Tacoma and the face on my 150lb Fisher just went dead, no ring at all. The rebound went from about 80% to maybe 50% in that time. I think the face plate is starting to delaminate from the body. Anyone else had a Fisher go quiet on them like that?

Oh man, my buddy's Fisher did the exact same thing! It just went totally silent one day while he was working.
