My anvil repair took three times longer than I budgeted for

I spent 8 hours trying to grind out a chip in my anvil face last weekend, figured it'd be a quick 2 hour job. Anyone else ever sink way more time into a simple fix than they planned?

@angela_grant right there with you, spent a whole Sunday on a chip and ended up with a bigger hole than I started with.

Man, ain't that always the way? I spent a whole Saturday trying to fix a stubborn chip in my anvil once, thought it'd be a quick job too and ended up just making it worse.
