I was dead set against buying a power hammer, then I rented one for a weekend
Always thought power hammers were just for production guys who don't know how to swing a hammer proper. But I had a commission for 40 fire pokers and my shoulder was screaming after day one. Rented a 25lb Little Giant for $150 for the weekend and knocked out all 40 in six hours. Now I'm saving up for my own, about $3,000 for a used one. Anyone else cave on a tool they swore they'd never buy?

Did you get any weird looks at the rental counter?
