Warning: Binging The Walking Dead made me forget how to talk to people
I used to breeze through a season of a show in one weekend, no problem. Then I started The Walking Dead last month and got completely hooked. I spent like 12 hours on a Saturday watching episodes, barely moving from the couch. Next day I went to grab coffee and my friend asked how my weekend was. I just stared at her and grunted like a zombie for a solid 5 seconds before snapping out of it. She thought I was messing around but I honestly felt like my brain had turned to mush from all that survival drama. Now I have to force myself to watch just 2 episodes a night or I lose all sense of reality. Has anyone else had a show mess with their head like that?

Wait, you actually grunted at your friend?? That is hilarious and kind of terrifying at the same time. I marathoned Ozark once and caught myself talking in a flat, monotone voice for like two days straight, but I never full-on zombie grunted at someone in public. You have to set a timer or something before you start eating people's brains for real lmao.

Wait did you actually catch yourself talking flat in public or just at home? Cause I gotta know if this show messes with your head enough to change how you act around strangers.

No way you actually grunted at your friend, that's wild. I've caught myself talking flat after binging this show but never full-on zombie noises. Did they at least laugh it off or were they genuinely freaked out?
