The time my power went out during the finale of The Wire

I was 3 episodes deep into season 4 and a thunderstorm knocked out the power at my apartment in Austin for 6 hours. Ended up reading the whole plot summary on Wikipedia just to get some closure, has anyone else had a viewing ruined by bad luck like that?

I was right in the middle of a ranked match last week, actually winning for once, and boom, whole block goes dark. @grace_bailey, what's the single worst thing you've had interrupted by a blackout? Like was it a game, a show, something more important? Cause I swear they always happen at the exact moment you can't afford to lose that progress. Makes you wonder if the power company has some kind of psychic monitoring.
