Talking to my dad about 'The Bear' made me see it differently

He's worked in kitchens his whole life and said the constant stress and yelling in the show is spot on, not just drama. It made me appreciate the show's accuracy way more. Anyone else have a show that clicked after talking to someone with real experience in that world?

Oh totally! My uncle's a firefighter and he said the same thing about that show Rescue Me. It just hits different when you hear it from someone who's lived it. Makes you watch with way more respect.

Had a friend whose mom was a nurse. She couldn't watch medical dramas anymore, said the beeping was all wrong.
