My sister called me out for watching the same 3 shows on repeat

Last week my sister visited and caught me rewatching The Office for the 5th time. She asked why I never try anything new and said I was missing out on so many good stories. That hit different because I realized I was just choosing comfort over discovery. She recommended this Korean drama called Crash Landing on You and I finished all 16 episodes in 4 days. Now I'm mixing in a new show every other week and it's been way more fun. Has anyone else gotten stuck in a rewatch loop and needed someone to snap you out of it?

Rewatching The Office 5 times isn't a hobby its a cry for help and your sister was just doing an intervention. Crash Landing on You is a solid pick though, that drama will wreck you in the best way possible. Maybe tell her thanks for saving you from becoming a one show zombie.

Yeah I had the same thing happen with my roommate calling me out for running through Community like 8 times. Once you break that cycle it opens doors. I started mixing in one new show for every rewatch and now my rotation is way more interesting. @oliver_morgan is right that Crash Landing on You is a good one, I tore through that last year. The trick is to just pick one show with short episodes and commit to the first two. Worst case you drop it and try something else. Got me into Dark and Mindhunter that way.
