Just hit 100 shows logged on my watchlist app and it made me realize how much TV I've actually watched.

You know, I used to be in the "this is just a list of stuff I haven't watched" camp, especially when my own list hit around 60 shows. But seeing you hit triple digits actually changed my mind a bit. There's something to be said for having that many stories you connected with, like how I still think about the characters from The Leftovers or how The Good Place genuinely made me rethink my own choices. Sure, it's not winning a trophy, but it's still a cool milestone that shows you've spent your time on things you actually enjoyed. What's one show from your hundred you'd tell everyone to watch?

My watchlist is at 47 shows. That number feels more like a list of things I haven't gotten to yet than a real accomplishment. It just reminds me how much good stuff I'm probably missing.

Honestly, 47 shows is nothing to stress about. It's just TV, not a homework assignment you're failing. Half those shows probably get canceled after one season anyway. My list has like 80 things on it and I just watch whatever I'm in the mood for. Tbh, calling it a "watchlist" makes it sound way more important than it is.

Nah I gotta disagree with calling it "not a real accomplishment." I get what you're saying but 100 shows is a lot of hours of entertainment. That's like 100 different worlds and characters and stories you've experienced. I can tell you which shows shaped how I think or made me laugh at bad times in my life. My watchlist is more like a menu of stuff I'm excited about, not a chore list. It's cool to look back and see what you actually finished versus what you dropped too.
