Just finished a show I've been putting off for years

Three years ago, my friend in Chicago would not stop telling me to watch 'The Expanse'. I kept saying I would, but I never did. Last month, I finally started it during a rainy weekend and got totally hooked. I just watched the final episode last night and it felt like closing a really good book. Has anyone else had a show they waited way too long to start?

Totally get that delayed satisfaction (it's a real thing). I did the same with "Better Call Saul" because I was worried it wouldn't live up to the original. The wait just made finally diving in feel like a reward.

Oh man, that's the best feeling. I did the exact same thing with "Breaking Bad". My brother bought me the whole box set like a decade ago (it was a physical box, with discs, which feels ancient now). It just sat on my shelf forever. I finally caved during a boring winter, and then I was mad at myself for waiting so long. It's weird how putting something off can make the eventual binge even more satisfying.
