NBC executives must have been having a real off day to consider that. Imagine a world without the dinner party episode or Threat Level Midnight. Their bad judgment is almost impressive. We dodged a bullet, but they clearly needed someone to check their pulse. The show was just hitting its stride, and they were ready to pull the plug. Some people really shouldn't be allowed to make decisions.

The network suits almost tanked one of the best shows ever because of low ratings. Real talk, they had no clue what they were sitting on back then. Good thing somebody pushed back or we'd be stuck in a sad timeline without Michael Scott.
