Hot take: Binging The Wire in order vs. skipping season 2 is a totally different show
I finally watched The Wire start to finish after years of hearing people say skip the dock stuff, and honestly season 2 was the glue for the whole thing. Without it, you miss how the city's economy ties every storyline together. Anybody else think season 2 is underrated?

Took me a while to get to The Wire too and I had the exact same experience. Season 2 felt weird at first but by the end I realized it's where all the economic stuff really clicks into place. Skipping it makes the whole show feel smaller somehow.
