Hit 100 episodes of a show I started just to fall asleep to, and I'm honestly proud
Three months ago I put on a random British baking competition at 11pm just to have background noise, and this morning I finished episode 100. What got me was finding out the whole thing has 14 seasons and I'm not even halfway, which feels like winning the lottery when your other shows are on break. Does anyone else have a "sleep show" that accidentally turned into a real binge?
14 seasons is wild but here's the thing nobody talks about: the show changes when you stop using it to sleep. I had the same thing with Forensic Files, knocked out to that narrator for like 6 months, then one night I was actually awake for an episode and caught myself following the timeline and the fiber evidence and everything. After that I couldn't pass out to it anymore because my brain wanted to pay attention. So now I'm stuck, I lost my sleep show and gained another binge. You might be in the same trap and not even know it yet.
