Honestly, you're totally right about the guest profile thing. Tbh, I made the mistake of sharing my password with a buddy who only watches reality TV trash. My whole home screen got flooded with that stuff and I couldn't find my own shows. Ngl, it caused a dumb fight until we set up his own profile. Now everything stays separate and it's so much better.

Netflix's algorithm gets seriously confused by mixed viewing history. My sister added one cooking competition to her profile and my whole account started pushing baking shows for weeks lol. Setting up separate profiles is such an easy fix for keeping recommendations actually useful.
