Everyone says to watch the new season of 'Severance' in one go, but I did the opposite.

I got super busy with work and could only watch one episode a week, spaced out over two months. Honestly, it made the show way better for me. The slow burn let each cliffhanger really sink in, and I started noticing small details I would have missed. Has anyone else tried stretching out a binge show and found it improved?

Two months for one season... that's crazy.

Honestly, I'm the reason they do that. My attention span is shot. If a show doesn't wrap up in a weekend, I forget all the plot points and characters. I need the whole story now before my brain moves on to the next thing. It's a personal problem, but the streaming services are definitely enabling me. I'll start a show, get hooked, and then be mad there's only eight episodes.

Right, two months is crazy. At that point they're just feeding us the show one breadcrumb per week like we're pigeons in a park. I get the old TV model, but now it feels like they want the hype of a weekly drop without actually having enough story to back it up. So we all just end up staring at the calendar waiting for the next crumb.
