Dropped $210 on a projector setup for backyard movie nights and it saved our whole summer
So back in May I was about to spend $400 plus on a fancy outdoor TV for the patio, but my neighbor talked me into a cheap projector instead. I grabbed an $85 mini projector off a deal site, a $60 screen, and spent the rest on an extension cord, a stand, and a Roku stick. Best money I've spent in years honestly. Every Friday since June we've had people over in the yard watching old sitcoms and cooking shows, and my kids actually ask to hang out with us now instead of hiding on their tablets. Last Friday we did a whole night of The Great British Bake Off and everyone brought a dessert, it was chaos in the best way. The picture isn't perfect when the sun's still up, but once it gets dark it looks shockingly good for the price. Now I'm trying to build a watchlist for the fall when it gets too cold to sit outside. What are your go to comfort shows that hold up for a crowd?
