Closed captions were hiding half the show from me for 6 years
I always watched with captions on for late night binges, but last month I noticed the on-screen text was covering key plot clues and even some jokes. I turned them off during a rewatch of an old thriller and caught a twist I completely missed the first time. Anyone else ever realize subtitles changed how they see a show?

Exactly! Captions make you focus on the words instead of the acting and the little visual details. Once I turned them off, I noticed how much the camera work and background stuff was telling the real story. It's like watching a whole different show sometimes.
