Am I the only one who got burned by that streaming bundle deal?
I signed up for that 3-month promo bundle that promised 4 services for $30 a month, but I got hit with $140 in fees after I tried to cancel at the end. Turns out there was a 12-month contract buried in the fine print that I missed. Has anyone else gotten stuck in one of these bait-and-switch bundles?

Same thing happened to my buddy with a car wash subscription. $20 a month for unlimited washes turned into a $200 cancellation fee when he moved. These companies hide the real terms everywhere now. Gyms do it too - sign up for a month, find out you're locked in for a year. Lawyers are the only ones who win in these deals. Fine print is basically a trap for people who don't have time to read 20 pages of nonsense.

Wait, isn't everyone blowing this a little out of proportion? I've had subscriptions for years and never had a problem, just read the contract for 5 minutes before signing. @adamgreen said it worked fine for him too. My buddy signed up for a gym and paid the cancellation fee, but it was like $30, not hundreds. Maybe its just about picking the right companies or actually looking at what you're clicking agree to. The car wash thing sounds rough, sure, but that's one story.
