Took me 3 weeks to hit 100k views on a 12 second video of my dog stealing a hot dog
So last month I filmed my dog Gus snatching a hot dog off the coffee table and it got 40 views. I was sure it was a flop. Then I watched this food account blow up with the exact same kind of clip and it had 2 million views. I studied it for like 3 weeks trying to crack the code. Turns out they posted at 6pm on a Tuesday and added a text overlay that said 'he knew what he was doing' in the first second. I tried that and got 100k in 4 days. Anyone else notice timing and that first-second hook matter way more than the clip itself?
