Took 6 months to crack TikTok's algorithm. Here's what I should have done day one.

I spent months posting random trendy stuff. Getting 200 views max. Thought it was broken. Turns out I was ignoring the niche entirely. In January I switched to hyper specific content about thrift flipping. Now I hit 50k views consistently. Has anyone else wasted months on the wrong strategy before finding their lane?

Oh man, I see this totally different. In my experience chasing the niche thing can backfire just as hard. You end up painting yourself into a corner where you can only talk about one tiny thing and then you're bored six months later.

Wait, you got bored in six months? Like you completely ran out of things to say? That sounds rough honestly. I've been deep in my hyper specific thing for almost two years now and I'm still finding new angles every week. Maybe it depends on how deep the rabbit hole goes with your topic. Some niches are just shallow puddles, others are oceans. Guess you gotta pick the right one.
