That TikTok hack for pushing posts at 2:14 PM actually doubled my reach in 4 days

I thought it was total BS but I tried it after seeing a breakdown from a data guy on Twitter and my last 2 posts shot up from 300 views to almost 2,000 each, has anyone else tested weird timing tricks like that?
